Pamela Adams
With a lifelong passion for giving, serving, and empowering others, Pamela has touched countless lives through her work in churches, schools, and community outreach programs. Her leadership is marked by humility, resilience, and an unwavering belief that every person has the power to rise above challenges and soar just like the butterfly that symbolizes the organization’s mission.
Even after the passing of her daughter in 2016, Pamela continues to carry forward Ronetha’s legacy of strength, creativity, and grace. Today, she leads Butterflies N’ Flight with prayerful dedication, ensuring that its mission—to inspire transformation, faith, and hope—remains alive in every life it touches.
How it all started
Guided by the Holy Spirit—our comforter and constant source of strength—my daughter Ronetha and I founded Glitter Productions and Butterflies N’ Flight in 2012, a faith-based nonprofit born from our shared passion for giving, serving, and uplifting others. Through this organization, we dedicate ourselves to coaching and inspiring youth in churches, schools, dance programs, and community theater. Our mission is to help families and individuals reconnect with one another, rebuild their faith, and experience the transforming love of God in their lives.
Butterflies N’ Flight stands as a living reflection of our commitment to serve with purpose and compassion. Ronetha’s heart for ministry and creativity shone brightly—she was a praise dancer, choreographer, and a pageant coach who trained queens with grace and determination. Crowned Miss Black Dallas 2013, she carried herself with strength and faith through every challenge, including heart complications that required both a pacemaker and defibrillator at the age of 26.
Even through health struggles, including juvenile diabetes since age 13 and ongoing kidney issues, she continued to serve and inspire with unwavering vigor. Her love for butterflies was profound—we often spoke about how they begin as caterpillars, endure the cocoon, and emerge renewed and free. That transformation became a symbol of faith, perseverance, and the beauty of God’s work in her life and in the lives we touch through our ministry.
